Claudia M.P. Batlle

Claudia M.P. Batlle is founder and Chief Investment Officer for Seaview Investment Managers. Claudia is a top investment advisor and strategist, with more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

 

Claudia is also the Global Investment Advisor at VectorGlobal IAG, a Registered Investment Advisor with global presence serving high net-worth individuals and institutions mainly in Latin America. She is also a voting member of VectorGlobal’s Investment Committee. She has held various roles and led different departments at VectorGlobal since 2011. During this period, the assets under her management increased from $5 million to over $1.5 Billion.

 

Claudia is a regular speaker at client conferences in several Latin American countries, with large audiences of sophisticated investors. She has also served as guest speaker for Babson College and Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.

 

Claudia is the founder of Financial Planning and Management International (FPMI LLC) and Financial Planning for Women (FPW, dba), offering financial education workshops for families, women, and young adults.

 

Claudia is a founding director of Fundación Manos del Sur, a non-profit organization founded in Miami in 1999, that helps children in Latin America through programs in education, health, and nutrition. She is also a board member of Legatus - Miami chapter, a catholic organization for business leaders.

 

Claudia began her career in finance in 1990, working for different global asset managers. Early in her career, she was responsible for portfolios with assets of over $500 million, in dollar and local currency denominated fixed income securities in emerging markets. During her tenure, her funds ranked consistently among the top in their categories.

 

Claudia is a graduate of Florida International University, a Certified Financial Planner® and holds FINRA licenses 7, 86/87, 24 and 66
